Mission Statement

The Cancer Cure Coalition is a foundation established in the State of New York as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt charitable organization. It is governed by a Board of Directors and receives technical support from a Scientific Advisory Board.

The mission of the Cancer Cure Coalition is to encourage the discovery, development, approval, availability and use of new and better treatments for the prevention and cure of prostate cancer, multiple myeloma, pancreatic cancer and other cancers.

To achieve its mission, the Cancer Cure Coalition will direct its efforts in the following areas:

  • Raise awareness about prostate cancer, multiple myeloma and pancreatic cancer.
  • Provide the general public, medical professionals and, most importantly, cancer patients and their families with information about these illnesses, the options for treatment and their availability.
  • Encourage research for a cure for cancer, especially prostate cancer and multiple myeloma, including advocating for more public and private financing for these initiatives.
  • Encourage cancer treatment programs with innovative and non-traditional approaches that have the potential to prevent, control or cure cancer in less costly, less invasive and less toxic manners.
  • Seek to build collaboration among cancer researchers, the health care industry and the government in the area of cancer treatment and research that meet the goals and criteria of the Foundation.
  • Provide encouragement, support and assistance for faster government review and approval of new and better treatments for cancer. This could save the lives of many critically ill patients. It would also lower drug prices by reducing the cost of obtaining their approval from the FDA.
  • Promote awareness of the risks of cancer among high-risk groups and also economically disadvantaged populations, and provide them with information on how they can reduce these risks. The African American community is a known high-risk group for prostate cancer. It also has an incidence of multiple myeloma more than twice as high as in the Caucasian population. The African American community would directly benefit from this initiative.
  • We have added breast cancer as a focus cancer for our Foundation. In the United States over 200,000 new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed each year and close to 40,000 people will die from this disease.
  • Surgery, radiation and chemotherapy are the standard treatments used. These are often harmful to the patient, and disfigurement is a frequent result of the surgery.

We believe diet and lifestyle changes similar to those described in our Protocol can help prevent breast cancer.

Also we have discovered new and less harmful treatments that can be used to fight this disease. Two of these new treatments will be the subject of our television specials. One involves the use of localized heat treatments to direct chemotherapeutic agents to the specific cancer site. Another involves the use of photodynamic therapy, which uses targeted light to kill the cancer. In addition, we will be bringing forward other new and effective therapies for this illness.
